Enya Wins the 2008 Christmas Album Race

Enya's ...And Winter Came was the only new album of holiday music to sell over 500,000 copies, falling far short of last year's chart topper, Josh Groban's Noel.

SoundScan announced the top sellers for the 2008 holiday season, including Faith Hill in second place with her Joy to the World (474,000) and Elvis Presley's Christmas Duets in third with 341,000.

  2. Joy to the World - Faith Hill - 474,000
  3. Christmas Duets - Elvis Presley - 341,000
  4. Songs of Joy and Peace - Yo-Yo Ma - 319,000
  5. What a Night! - Harry Connick, Jr. - 243,000
  6. Swingin' Christmas - Tony Bennett with the Count Basie Orchestra - 224,000
  7. Christmasville - Mannheim Steamroller - 154,000
  8. Winter Symphony - Sarah Brightman - 133,000
  9. The Christmas Collection - Amy Grant - 104,000
  10. The Priests - The Priests - 69,000
  11. This Christmas - Aretha Franklin - 62,000
