Gene Simmons to Speak at Industry Concert, Is Sued by Former Business Partner

Gene Simmons will be the keynote speaker at the Billboard Touring Conference on November 19 and 20 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. Executive director Ray Waddell said "Gene Simmons' fingerprints are on virtually all segments of the music industry, particularly as it relates to the live music business. We are thrilled to have him on board for our milestone fifth Touring Conference and we know his insight and the 'Gene Simmons world view' will be a compelling must-see for our attendees. Buckle up."

Simmons is also being sued along with two business partners by a man who claims the he was taken in an Indy Racing League marketing deal with the trio.

Allan Brown claims that he was cut out of a deal between Simmons' group and the racing league after he had brokered the alliance. Brown also claims that the group slandered him to the racing league officials while he was away on a vacation. He is seeking undisclosed damages.
